The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), is an executive at the top of an organization whose primary responsibility is to guard the company's information systems and information from cyber-attacks. The CISO should have a thorough knowledge of the organization's information security policies, structures, and procedures, as well as the weaknesses and capabilities of the company's IT (IT). Furthermore, a CISO is responsible for leading and managing the security of information operations within the company which include incident response and recovery.
